Denny Embry

Denny Embry, age 55, a resident of SE Licking River Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his home with family. Denny was born August 6, 1961 in Bowling Green, Kentucky the son of Euretta Jo Boleyn Watts and the late Ray Watts. Grandparents, Everett and Delsina Boleyn, nephews, Derek Martin Embry, William Ray Avera, great nephew Parker Raleigh, sister in law, Tina Embry, In-laws, Ernest and Phyllis Howard, sister in laws, Karen Sue Howard, Traci Cheri Howard Avera, brother in law, Ricky Lee Howard preceded in death. Denny was a member of the Ivyton Baptist Church in Salyersville, Kentucky. Bro. Denny was a member of the Masonic Lodge 769 F&AM Salyersville, Kentucky and Magoffin County Shrine Club. He was employed as an electrican working out of Electrical Union 1925 and was owner and operator of Embry Trucking. "Fuzzy" spent many days supporting his family on the road. Those left to mourn includes wife, Ernestetta Howard Embry of Salyersville, Kentucky, daughters, Morgan Jo Embry Worrell and husband Logan of Waco, Kentucky, Hillary Denise Embry Rudd and husband Kyle of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Karmeron Lee, Kristina Danielle, and Harper Denise Rudd of Salyersville, Kentucky, mother, Euretta Jo Boleyn Watts, brothers, Danny Embry of Hazard, Kentucky, Tim Embry and wife Lisa of Hazard, Kentucky, Charles Ray Watts of Mousie, Kentucky, sisters, Sheena Embry Hensley and husband Darrell of Isom, Kentucky, Velma Watts Conley of Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral services for Denny Embry will be conducted Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Howard Family Cemetery on SE Licking River Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Saturday, April 8, 2017 after 5:00 PM, and anytime prior to funeral services. Masonic Rites will be conducted Saturday, April 8 at 7:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Contributions can be made to the Denny Embry Memorial Fund, Masonic Lodge 769 F&AM, or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Arrangements are entrusted and under the direction of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky.
