Judy Brown Salyer

Judy Brown Salyer, age 68, a resident of Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Judy was born April 14, 1952 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Clifford and Crilda Frasure Brown. Sisters, Shelia Montgomery, Becky Brown, and brothers, Paul Brown, Ernie Brown, Daniel Brown, Clifford Brown Jr. also preceded in death. She was employed at multiple places and jobs. From being a florist to security at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. Her first job, and most important, was being a pillar to her family. She loved spending every opportunity she had with them. Those left to mourn includes husband, Gerald Salyer, son, Gerald Milton Salyer and Bobby of Lexington, Kentucky, daughters, Alicia Blair and husband Carl of Leander, Kentucky, Machelle Hardin and husband Charles "Doc" of Salyersville, Kentucky, Faith Wilson and husband Mike of Salyersville, Kentucky, Olivia Grace Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, sisters, Bessie Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky, Ollie Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, brothers, John Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky, Jack Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky, Terry Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky, DeMorris Brown of Marion, Ohio, Will Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Kayla Marie Howard, Laken Holbrook, Alley Coffey, Lorna Minix, Morgan Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Lauren Hardin, Nicholas Hardin, Walter Hardin, Megan Hardin, Adrianna Salyer, Emily Salyer, Julie Page Salyer, John Payne Salyer, nine great grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss her. Funeral services for Judy Salyer will be conducted Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Salyersville Freewill Baptist Church in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Floyd Arnett will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Patrick Family Cemetery on College Heights in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Monday after 5:00 PM, all day Tuesday, and anytime Wednesday prior to funeral services at the church. COVID19 restrictions are strictly enforced.
