Adelean Borders

Adelean Hunley Borders, age 82, a resident of Borders Road in Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Saint Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Mrs. Borders was born November 24, 1930 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Hudie "Buck" and Ruth Crace Hunley. Also, proceeding in death is a child, sisters, Evelyn Bell and Lavelle Hunley, and brothers, Grant Hunley, Coy B. Hunley, and Roy Hunley. Mrs. Borders was a member of the United Baptist Church and homemaker. Those left to mourn include her husband, Everett Ray Borders, whom she married June 14, 1947, daughter, Sue Border of Salyersville, Kentucky, sons, Eddie Borders and wife Roxanne of Palm Desert, California, James D. Borders and wife Betty of Winchester, Kentucky, and sister, Marie Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky. Also, surviving are nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great great Grandchild and a host of family and friends who love and miss her. Funeral services of Adelean Hunley Borders will be conducted Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM here from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy John Blanton, Buster Blanton, and CJ Tackett will give comforting words on the day of services. Burial will follow the service at the Borders Family Cemetery on Lick Creek Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Tuesday, November 27, 2012 after 3:00 PM and anytime prior to funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky.
