Henry J. Allen, age 62, a resident of Parkway Drive in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Paintsville ARH Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Henry J. was born October 12, 1959 in Winamac, Indiana the son of the late Reuben and Augalee Minix Allen. He was a pillar to his family and enjoyed being with them as often as possible. Those left to mourn includes son, Steven Allen of Norwalk, Ohio, daughter, Jennifer Lynn Chambers and husband Astor of Denham, Indiana, brothers, Wayne Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky, Chester Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky, Ward "Etsie" Allen of Denham, Indiana, Chris "Bob" Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky, Alvin "Hoss" Allen of Denham, Indiana, Stoney "Hut" Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky, sisters, Belva Chambers of North Judson, Indiana, Brenda Crace of Paintsville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Robert Risner Jr. of Denham, Indiana, Virginia Chambers of Denham, Indiana, a host of family and friends who love and miss him. Funeral services for Henry J. Allen will be conducted Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Tim Watkins will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Allen Family Cemetery on Craft Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Friday, January 14, 2022 after 6:00 PM from the Salyersville Funeral Home.
