Rev. Herman Baldridge

October 2, 1933 - February 5, 2013

Herman Baldridge, age 79, a resident of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Rev. Baldridge entered this life on October 2, 1933 the son of the late Thomas and Polka Rataliff Baldridge. Also, proceeding in death is one son, Darren Devon Baldridge, siblings, Sanford Baldridge, Gracie Baldridge Wireman, Henry Baldridge, Susie Baldridge Patton, Mintha Baldridge Johnson, May Baldridge, Belve Baldridge, Betty Baldridge Emera, Thomas J. Baldridge, Sally Baldridge. Rev. Baldridge has been a Christian since the age of fourteen, a minister since the age of eighteen, and continued preaching until his passing. He was married January 24, 1956 to Wavel Cole Baldridge. In his passing her leaves behind his wife, Wavel Baldridge of Salyersville, Kentucky, daughter, Petra Hausladen and husband Bob of Louisville, Kentucky, grand daughter, Bella Hausladen of Louisville, Kentucky, and two sisters, Maudie Baldridge Warix and Florence Baldridge Smith. Also, surviving is a host of family and friends who love and miss him. Funeral services for Herman Baldridge will be conducted Friday, February 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM here from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Comforting words will be given by clergy Gary Ferguson. Burial will follow the service in the Poe Cemetery on Jim Arnett Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends during the calling hours of Wednesday after 6:00 PM, Thursday after 10:00 AM, and anytime prior to funeral services.
