John Mazzie

John Mazzie, age 90, a resident of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 on Route 30 in Salyersville, Kentucky. Mr. Mazzie was born May 28, 1922 in Logan, West Virginia the son of the late Phillip and Mary Gallo Mazzie. Mr. Mazzie was co-owner of Blair Medical Supplies here in Salyersville, Kentucky and was an avid organic farmer. In his passing he leaves behind wife Phyllis Blair Mazzie of Salyersville, Kentucky, sons, John Kevin Mazzie of Tennessee, Anthony Michiniak of Michigan, daughters, Sherry Wilson of Florida, and Angel Meuer of Tennessee. Also, surviving are four sisters, two brothers, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of family and friend who love and miss him. Funeral services for John Mazzie will be conducted Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM here from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Larry Patrick will deliver comforting words on the day of services. The family will welcome friends Sunday, May 19, 2013 after 10:00 AM and anytime prior to the funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky.
