Nadine H. Preston, age 90, a resident of Mash Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at ARH Paintsville in Paintsville, Kentucky. Mrs. Preston was born born February 8, 1932 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Brack and Dora Wisecup Hamilton. Husband, William Roger Preston, brothers, Lockard Hamilton, Wilburn Hamilton, Lowell Hudson Hamilton, Joe F. Hamilton, sisters, Jane Hamilton, Edna Hamilton, also preceded in death. Mrs. Preston was a graduate of Salyersville High School here in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was employed as a librarian at the Magoffin County Library until her retirement. Those left to mourn includes daughters, Linda Salyer and husband Lloyd of Salyersville, Kentucky, Pamela Green and husband Thomas of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Retta Sue Hamilton Shackelford of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Michael Lloyd Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, Leigh Ann Lucas and husband Daniel of Morehead, Kentucky, David Thomas Green of Frankfort, Illinois, Lisa Michelle Walker and Dave of Philpot, Kentucky, nine great grandchildren, Blaize Sterling Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, Bryce Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, Caleb Daniel Lucas of Morehead, Kentucky, Logan Preston Lucas of Morehead, Kentucky, Jake Coleman Lucas of Morehead, Kentucky, Mason David Walker of Philpot, Kentucky, Maggie Kay Walker of Philpot, Kentucky, Molly Jane Walker of Philpot, Kentucky, Sadie Noelle Lucas of Morehead, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss her. Funeral services for Nadine Preston will be conducted Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Daniel Lucas will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Hamilton Cemetery on Mash Fork Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Thursday, May 19, after 6:00 PM and anytime prior to funeral services.
