Odell Risner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Odell Risner, age 79, a resident of Lee Roark Road in Hazel Green, Kentucky; passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Risner was born August 31, 1935 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Lloyd and Dora (Risner) Risner. Also, proceeding in death is one sister, Mary Risner. Those left to mourn includes his sisters, Ressie Roark of Hazel Green, Kentucky, Tressie Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky; brothers, Junior Risner of Salyersville, Kentucky, Lacy Risner of Salyersville, Kentucky, Ray Risner of Salyersville, Kentucky. Also, surviving is a host of family and friends who love and miss him. Funeral services for Odell Risner will be conducted Monday, December 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM here from the Chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Johnny Reed will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Risner Cemetery on Right Hand Fork of Cow Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Sunday, November 30, after 6:00 PM and anytime prior to the funeral service Monday, December 1. Services are under the direction of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky.
