Sheila Collinsworth Elkins, age 56, a resident of Winchester, Kentucky, formally of Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Elkins was born November 9, 1956 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of Goldie Mills Collinsworth and the late Willie Collinsworth. Also, proceeding in death is one sister, Teddy Albright Vanderpool, and one brother, Lowell Collinsworth. Mrs. Elkins was a homemaker and vital member to her family. In her passing she leaves behind husband, Jackie L. Wolford, daughters, Twana Austin and husband Ray of Lexington, Kentucky, Jeanie Barker of Lexington, Kentucky, sons, Eddie Slone and wife Karen of Lexington, Kentucky, Tim Barker of San Antonio, Texas, and sisters, Daisy Joseph of Salyersville, Kentucky, Regina Middleton of Enterprise, Alabama, and Helen Henning of West Liberty, Kentucky. Funeral services for Sheila Collinsworth Elkins will be conducted Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Mitchell Reed will deliver comforting words on the day of services. Burial will follow in the Collinsworth Family Cemetery in White Oak, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Monday, August 5, after 6:00 PM, and anytime prior to the funeral service Tuesday. Arrangements are under the direction of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky.
