Shon Emmons Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Shon Emmons, age 41, a resident of Highway 460 West in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Shon was born August 28, 1978 in Jackson, Michigan the son of Cathy Emmons Cole and the late Kenny Cole Sr. Sister, Kandy Rae Cole, also preceded in death. He enjoyed working in the outdoors and with agriculture. Those left to mourn includes his mother, Cathy Emmons Cole of Salyersville, Kentucky, wife, Laurie Futrell of Jackson, Michigan, daughter, Julie Emmons of Michigan, son, Jordon Emmons of Michigan, sister, Melinda Holderby of Salyersville, Kentucky, brothers, Kyle Cole of Salyersville, Kentucky, Kelly Cole of Cattlesburg, Kentucky, Kenny Cole Jr. of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Kevin Cole of Salyersville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Liam Emmons of Michigan, Luke Emmons of Michigan, a host of family and friends who love and miss him. Funeral services for Shon Emmons will be conducted Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Robert May will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will occur at a later date in the Shepherd Cemetery on Sand Bottom Road in Royalton, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends, Tuesday, June 23, after 11:00 AM and anytime prior to the funeral service. COVID19 regulations are applied to the funeral arrangements.
